This was developed to provide a lamp identical in shape to the Flo Desk, but lower in height and less powerful. The supporting arm, in fact, is 7 cm shorter than the Flo Desk’s 43 cm, while the LED power has been reduced to 3W from the 6W of the Desk version.
The Flo Bedside was designed by Foster + Partners mainly for use in the home, its natural place being the bedroom (bedside table), where it provides perfect light for reading but without being visually invasive.
